Can I use baby wipes on my dog?
It’s best not to. Baby and surface wipes are made for human skin and may contain alcohol or fragrances that irritate dogs or that you don’t want licked off. Choose wipes formulated for pets instead.
Are dog wipes a replacement for bathing?
No, but they extend the time between baths nicely. Wipes handle everyday mud, dust and grubby paws, while a proper wash is still needed when your dog is genuinely dirty or smelly.
Can I flush dog wipes down the toilet?
Never — not even ones labelled flushable. They cause blockages in UK drains and harm waterways. Always put used wipes in the bin, and choose biodegradable ones if you can.
